Burmester

Burmester emerged in 1750, in London, when Henry Burmester joined John Nash, thus creating Burmester, Nash & Co.

Today it is found on the left bank of the Douro River, located in the famous Douro Superior sub-region. The most dominant varieties are Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Tinto Cão. However, there are also small plots of Tinta Barroca and Tinta Amarela.
